Project
The Mona Vale Hospital project is a significant part of the $600 million Northern Beaches Health Services redevelopment, which is the largest investment in local health services and infrastructure in decades. The project aims to provide high-quality healthcare services through modern and purpose-built facilities. As part of the redevelopment, some old buildings on the campus have been removed to make way for new facilities, including a new geriatric evaluation management and palliative care (GEM/Pal care) unit. The unit, which opened in February 2021, is the first of its kind on the Northern Beaches, offering palliative care services to patients in need.
