Logan is one of the fastest growing regions in the state with more than 70,000 people expected to move to the area within the next decade. The Logan Hospital Expansion is one of the state’s largest ever hospital expansions.
The expansion will be a significant transformation for Logan Hospital. In addition to a vertical expansion (new floors), the program of work includes the refurbishment of parts of the original hospital buildings.
The project entails the addition of 206 beds and treatment spaces, a four-floor vertical expansion of Building 3, and building-in of the ground floor of Building 3. Additionally, clinical, clinical support and operational service support areas in the existing hospital buildings will undergo refurbishment. Through this expansion, the aim is to provide a range of new and expanded healthcare services to the Logan community, making Logan Hospital a valuable partner in one of the fastest growing regions in the state.
