The Cessnock Rapid Build Prison (RBP) is a maximum security facility that can house up to 400 sentenced male inmates. The STCC has been created with a lifespan of 5 years and is intended to help ease the pressure on Corrective Services throughout the state while also improving safety and efficiency in NSW operations.
