The highly anticipated launch of Esco Industries’ new product range, Comfort, is almost upon us. Independence was at the forefront of the design process for every element of the Comfort range, making it a solution that caters to everyone’s needs. The Comfort range includes market-first, AS/NZS3003 (Electrical Installations – Patient Areas) compliant large switch socket outlets, providing the industry with a solution that upholds the Body & Cardiac Protected electrical standards without having to compromise on the practicality that the large switch offers. In another market-first, the Comfort range provides a total antimicrobial large switch solution (see below) to help further protect those most vulnerable.   

The Comfort range is suitable for all applications but perfect for aged care, assisted living, retirement homes, disability group housing, new buildings designed for access and mobility, and any other setting that requires large format switches and outlets. For 70 years, Esco Industries has continually delivered quality and innovative solutions to the market, and Comfort is another solution that does just that. We’re excited to share this with the market. 

Antimicrobial Protection
The Comfort range has antimicrobial additives that have been applied as a masterbatch during the manufacturing process. The product has been independently tested by an accredited laboratory to ISO 22196 as being an effective antibacterial source to inhibit the growth and kill microorganisms such as Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.
