Project
The government of New Zealand has made a pledge to renovate the Taranaki Base Hospital located in New Plymouth. This redevelopment plan is referred to as Project Maunga Stage Two and is the second phase of the hospital’s renovation. The first phase of the Taranaki Base Hospital Redevelopment, known as the acute services building, was completed in 2014, costing NZ$80 million. Esco Industries and Modempak Ltd were honoured to be engaged in a detailed design process, bringing the project’s concept drawings for their Medical Services Panels to life. Together, a truly customised recessed and surface-mounted Medical Services Panel was developed to service the Hospital now and well into the future.
