The $658 million Sydney Children’s Hospital Stage 1 and Minderoo Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre aims to provide world-leading clinical care, research, and education under one roof to transform kids’ health. The collaboration between the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, Children’s Cancer Institute, and UNSW Sydney will result in a state-of-the-art paediatric health and research facility. The new facility will feature a range of services including a children’s intensive care unit, an enhanced Emergency Department, medical short stay unit, neurosciences centre, virtual care centre, inpatient units for various purposes, a new cancer centre, co-located laboratories, advanced pharmacy, improved parent amenities, and education/training spaces.
