Project
The Victorian Government has invested $35.7 million to redevelop the emergency department at Swan Hill District Health. This funding has allowed for the upgrade of the emergency department, creating a high-quality clinical environment that aligns with contemporary healthcare standards.
The new emergency department significantly reduces wait times by more than doubling the number of points of care available. Additionally, a short-stay unit has been added to accommodate future demand.
In total, the project received an investment of $65.7 million, with the federal government contributing $30 million.
ESCO was thrilled to be part of the Swan Hill ED redevelopment, supplying our AlphaMax Medical Services Panels along with MediTek Switchgear, Medical Isolation Valve Boxes and Medical Gas Outlets.
